DJEZii

Jaimee Ann Wilson, known as DJEZii, originated in Barrie, Ontario, before making the move to Toronto at 19. Immersed in the city's vibrant music scene, she frequented local record shops, paving the way for a career in DJing. Collaborating with turntablists in event coordination, Jaimee secured sponsorships to initiate a DJ course for underprivileged teens. Volunteering at Ryerson CIUT, she closely observed Toronto's top DJs, fueling her passion.

 

Transitioning to breakdancing, Jaimee garnered sponsorships from major brands like Nike, Puma, and Adidas. This enabled her to teach, tour, feature in music videos, and showcase her skills. Motherhood briefly paused her career, but in 2015, she rekindled her passion for DJing, adapting to the digital era.With a controller from Play De Record, Jaimee embraced Serato and started performing at local bars and house parties.

 

A residency at Poetry Jazz Cafe and gigs with Jessgo Gallery solidified her reputation. In 2021, amid the pandemic, she conceived The Gigabike Toronto project, a mobile stage for street performances, earning acclaim and success.Securing a position with Mastermix DJ services in 2022, Jaimee entertained audiences at weddings and corporate events. She expanded her horizons by forming Allovus, a DJ band featuring Danny Drums and Serge Nikol.
